“SA DRASSANA” CULTURAL CENTRE.

A listed apartment building in Plaza Drassanes, in Palma, fully refurbished for it to become a cultural centre with an art gallery and a restaurant.

The intention is that of respecting and imitating the language of the existing building and its period. In this case, the success of the architect’s role consists in his intervention not being noticeable, which means that the building, while adapted to its new use, should show no signs of any changes having been made to it.

In keeping with these principles, all of the materials used obviously correspond to the period in which the building was erected.
