The plot where the Office Building is located is in the northeast of the ParcBIT and covers a surface of 1,853m² on relatively flat land. It is bounded on the west by the Can Barbarà stream; in the north, it boasts excellent views of the Serra de Tramuntana mountain range, and it is very well communicated with the parking area.

The main idea of the project was that of creating a low-height building in which the landscaped courtyards were to become the main feature both in terms of the concept of the project and of the functioning of the new building.

The building was conceived from the outside as a large box with a highly geometric and compact image; and in contrast with this assertiveness of the external image, the interior spaces were conceived as very clear and open spaces which extend to outdoor spaces that, in the manner of courtyards, ensure a good illumination and ventilation of the various work areas, favouring a wider and more pleasant view of the outside spaces.

The idea is that of constructing a bioclimatic architecture, in which the outdoor yards make the most of the daylight and favour the natural ventilation needed for saving energy for the lighting and ventilation of the building, especially in the intermediate spring and autumn seasons.
