The park is structured around the diagonal of the site, with a promenade that bends, warping the terrain into a hillock and making it possible, at the halfway stage, to recover the image of the sea.

Superimposed onto the hillock of the park, like a gigantic hopscotch, Le Corbusier’s Open Hand finally establishes the limit of the paved surfaces.

The open hand as a symbol of generosity and friendship, as a helping hand and as a friendly wave to those who are coming or leaving.
